PCB ASSEMBLER - TECHNICIAN


Holt Integrated Circuits Inc. is a semiconductor company located in Orange County, California. Our company specializes in system-engineered integrated circuits used in aerospace and military hardware. Our high reliability devices are used by virtually all aircraft and related electronic subsystem industries. The ideal candidate would be able to: 

  • Hand assembly of PCB parts using fixtures and a variety of hand tools

  • Soldering skills placing or removing SMT passive components

  • Advanced integrated circuit removal and re-desoldering is a plus

  • Experience with analog and digital signal measurements; Rise/Fall times, amplitude, frequency bandwidth

  • Word and Excel spreadsheets for logging measurement data in simple reports

  • Read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products

  • Test and trouble shoot circuit boards using oscilloscopes, DMM and other various lab equipment

  • Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations

  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Associate Degree or higher in electronics fundamentals

  • 5 years experience using digital oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Multi-meters, Function Generators

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Perform repetitive tasks

  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately

  • Ability to work with both hands working multiple functions

  • Ability to see and distinguish detail in assembly or markings

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times

  • Holiday Pay (Approximately 14 days a year including the holiday shutdown)

  •  Vacation Pay- 13 days (0-5 years), 16.25 days (5-10 years) and 19.5 days (10+ years)
    -   Vacation Balance Max: 186 hours, vacation paid out weekly if capped

  • Sick Pay- 1 hour per week, not lost at year end.   Balance paid out at separation like vacation.
    -   Sick Balance Max: 80 hours, sick paid out weekly if capped

  • 401K Plan and Employer Matching (eligibility after 6 months)
    -   Employer Match: 1st 3% matched 100%, next 2% matched 50% (Total 4%)
