ARINC 429 Receiver Operates without MCU -Friday, November 8, 2013
Holt Integrated Circuits announced the introduction of HI-8475, a novel ARINC 429 receiver designed specifically for use without a microprocessor. All configuration and control is programmed using logic input pins, eliminating the need for a microprocessor or software interface and the related costs for software certification.

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced an extended temperature version of the popular HI-15530, a MIL-STD-1553 encoder/decoder used extensively on legacy military platforms and down-hole drilling applications. The device can operate in the temperature range -55°C to +200°C and is also a drop-in replacement for the Intersil HD-15530.

Holt Introduces MIL-STD-1553 Development Kit with PCIe Interface -Thursday, October 3, 2013
Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the introduction of a new MIL-STD-1553 development kit with a PCI Express (PCIe) interface. The kit is based on Holt’s popular 3.3V BC/MT/RT multi-terminal device, HI-6130, and interfaces with a PCIe slot on a Windows 7 personal computer.

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced that Shadin Avionics selected its MIL-STD-1553 BC/MT/RT terminal IC, HI-6131PCTF, and stacked dual core isolation transformer, PM-DB2762, for use in their TSO Certified Avionics Interface System, AIS-460. Shadin Avionics AIS-460 converts MIL-STD-1553 to ARINC 429 and other avionics signals.

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the introduction of HI-8436, a new 3.3V, 32-channel, discrete-to-digital sensing IC with SPI interface and low threshold sensing capability. The sense input thresholds and hysteresis are programmable via the 20MHz SPI port in 100mV steps, from 0.4V to 5.2V and all 32 sense output states may be read with a single SPI command.

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the introduction of development kits for a 3.3V, 10Mbit/sec EBR-1553 solution. The kits include all necessary hardware, software (including source code) and feature Holt’s HI-6140, an integrated terminal designed for Enhanced Bit Rate 10Mbps MIL-STD-1553 or MIL-STD-1760 applications, such as Miniature Munitions Stores Interface (MMSI) or EBR-1553.
