Mission Viejo, CA (November 1, 2013) - Holt Integrated Circuits today announced an extended temperature version of the popular HI-15530, a MIL-STD-1553 encoder/decoder used extensively on legacy military platforms and down-hole drilling applications. The device can operate in the temperature range -55oC to +200oC and is also a drop-in replacement for the Intersil HD-15530.
The HI-15530CDH is designed to meet the requirements of MIL-STD-1553 and similar Manchester II encoded, time division multiplexed serial data protocols. The HI-15530 contains both an Encoder and Decoder, which operate independently and are fully compatible with either 5V or 3.3V logic and transceivers. The higher operating temperature and hermetic package options greatly improve the reliability of this device in harsher environments.
