Mission Viejo, CA (July 28, 2008) – Holt Integrated Circuits, in partnership with Premier Magnetics Inc., today expanded it’s offering of MIL-STD-1553 interface transformers to include reduced footprint SMD versions, resulting in the smallest and most cost effective solution on the market today. Interface transformers are a required part of all MIL-STD-1553 data bus installations. Holt is the exclusive provider of Premier Magnetics complete line of interface transformers used in conjunction with MIL-STD-1553 transceivers for military data bus applications.
The PM-DB2790S, PMDB2791S, PM-DB2795S and PM-DB2798S have a package outline of just 0.40” x 0.40” x 0.185” and provide all combinations of turns ratio necessary for transformer or direct coupled MIL-STD-1553 data bus applications. The PM-DB2798S is a dual ratio device, combining both PM-DB2791S and PM-DB2795S to allow selection of either transformer coupled or direct coupled turns ratio from the secondary winding.
