Holt Expands SPI Discrete-to-Digital Sensing IC Family with High Impedance Low-Threshold Device

Holt Integrated Circuits expands its discrete-to-digital portfolio with the introduction of HI-8437, a 3.3V, 32-channel, discrete-to-digital sensing IC with SPI interface and low threshold sensing capability. The high impedance sense input thresholds and hysteresis are programmable via the 20MHz SPI port in 100mV steps, from 0.4V to 5.2V and all 32 sense output states may be read with a single SPI command. In addition, the device has built-in lightning protection on the sense inputs. Read more

Holt Releases Drop-In Replacement for DDC MIL-STD-1553 Transceiver BU-63133L8

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced the introduction of HI-1582, a pin-compatible, “form and fit” drop-in replacement for the Data Device Corporation MIL-STD-1553 transceiver, BU-63133L8. The new device is a single-channel transceiver designed for use with Holt MIL-STD-1553 isolation transformers with 1:2.50 turns ratio. Read more

ARINC 429 Receiver Operates without MCU

Holt Integrated Circuits announced the introduction of HI-8475, a novel ARINC 429 receiver designed specifically for use without a microprocessor. Holt Introduces 200°C High Temperature MIL-STD-1553 Manchester Encoder/Decoder

Holt Integrated Circuits today announced an extended temperature version of the popular HI-15530, a MIL-STD-1553 encoder/decoder used extensively on legacy military platforms and down-hole drilling applications. Holt Integrated Circuits today announced that Shadin Avionics selected its MIL-STD-1553 BC/MT/RT terminal IC, HI-6131PCTF, and stacked dual core isolation transformer, PM-DB2762, for use in their TSO Certified Avionics Interface System, AIS-460. The kits include all necessary hardware, software (including source code) and feature Holt’s HI-6140, an integrated terminal designed for Enhanced Bit Rate 10Mbps MIL-STD-1553 or MIL-STD-1760 applications, such as Miniature Munitions Stores Interface (MMSI) or EBR-1553.
